Converts certain Neo*Geo AES games to NGCD format, notably:
- Eightman / 8man
- King of the Monsters (AES)
- Spinmaster / Miracle Adventure
- Zed Blade / Operation Ragnarok
Supply appropriate set of files in the Darksoft format, the same type of set that would work on your Analogue pocket for example, and off you go. Remember: There are two different sets of KotM!
Freshly recorded CDDA is included of the original Neo Geo BGMs.
(No proprietary roms contained within)
The version labeled for CD-R and NGCD SD Loader (and also Raine) includes postgap cue files. With this, the SD Loader and Raine emulator should have nearly seamless loops for CDDA, and CD-R will be about as good as it can be with laser sled seeking.
The version labeled for MiSTer (or similar systems) includes the postgaps baked into the audio tracks. This makes the files larger, but for some reason MiSTer seems to ignore the postgap command in a cue sheet, at least as it relates to manually cutting off the end of LPCM for NGCD.
Update: 2025-02-24, added the different versions above and fixed an issue with the cue sheets getting truncated upon building.
Update: 2025-03-03, Updated the batch file such that it should give out Correct CRCs on everyone's system now. Also added some padding to all the track data, and reduced padding on audio tracks by a few frames, in accordance with real hardware behavior.
I also made new Spinmaster logo files, so with the correct padding now, and those, it should make it so that people shouldn't see crashes when the bios initializes a game.
(Though personally, I have not been seeing this on either of my test Top Loaders. So I hope it works, otherwise removing those LOGO files is always an option).
